Savage Axis 2 Pro Western 25-06 Rem 20" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Left Hand

The Savage Axis 2 Pro Western is a left-handed bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 25-06 Remington, finished in Savage's Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote on the metalwork and dressed in a synthetic fixed stock with a pistol grip and Savage Western camouflage. At 40.5 inches overall and 6.80 pounds, it balances well for spot-and-stalk western big game.

A 20-inch heavy sporter contour barrel sits free-floated inside the forend with a 1:10-inch twist that stabilizes the full range of .25-06 bullet weights commonly used on mule deer, elk, and similar game. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 for direct-thread muzzle devices or a suppressor.

The carbon steel receiver uses Savage's thread-in headspacing system for a tight, repeatable barrel-to-action lockup. Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets the shooter dial pull weight between roughly 5.6 and 6.0 pounds without a trip to a gunsmith, providing a clean, creep-free break.

The rifle ships without iron sights, instead carrying an integrated Picatinny rail ready for scope mounting. A four-round detachable box magazine is included, giving the Axis 2 Pro Western a 4+1 capacity in the field.
