Savage Axis 2 Pro Western 223 Rem 20" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand

The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro Western is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 223 Rem, purpose-built for big game hunting and hog control. Wrapped in Savage Western camouflage and finished in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote over a carbon steel barreled action, this right-hand rifle is part of the redesigned Axis 2 Pro platform.

The rifle's 20" heavy sporter threaded barrel with a 1:9" twist is chambered for 223 Rem. Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets the shooter tune pull weight to preference, while thread-in barrel headspacing provides consistent lockup. An enhanced bolt handle rounds out the updated action. Iron sights are not included; the action ships with a one-piece Picatinny rail ready for optic mounting.

The fixed synthetic stock features a pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells and enhanced texturing for a secure hold in the field. The rifle ships with one 4-round detachable box magazine, giving a total 4+1 capacity.

At 6.80 lbs unloaded and an overall length of 40.50", the Axis 2 Pro Western handles well for the stand or the stalk, and the threaded muzzle accepts a standard muzzle device or suppressor where applicable.
