Savage Axis 2 Pro Western 223 Rem 20" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Left Hand

The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro Western is a left-hand bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .223 Rem, purpose-built for big-game hunting, hog hunting, and general field use where a southpaw action is required. It carries forward the proven Savage Axis platform with the upgraded Axis 2 Pro feature set: user-adjustable AccuTrigger, thread-in headspacing, an updated bolt handle, and a one-piece optics rail.

A 20" heavy sporter contour barrel is threaded at 1/2x28 for the easy installation of muzzle devices or a suppressor, and the 1:9" twist stabilizes a wide range of .223 Rem bullet weights for both hunting and defensive applications. The bolt action feeds from a four-round detachable box magazine for a total 4+1 capacity, and the rifle ships from the factory with no iron sights - the integrated one-piece Picatinny rail accepts your favorite hunting optic.

The receiver is machined from carbon steel and is paired with a fixed-stock configuration wearing a pistol grip and finished in natural camouflage for a classic western hunting profile. Overall length measures 40.50" with an unloaded weight of approximately 6.80 lbs. One detachable magazine is included.
