The Savage Axis 2 Pro is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 30-06 Springfield. Built around a carbon steel receiver finished in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote, the rifle pairs that action with a 20-inch spiral fluted, threaded barrel - a feature exclusive to the Forest SP Camo configuration that adds surface area for faster cooling and improved shot-to-shot consistency.

Feeding from an internal 4-round box magazine for a 4+1 total capacity, the Axis 2 Pro ships with no iron sights, presenting an optics-ready top receiver ready for a scope base or one-piece rail of the buyer's choice. The Savage AccuTrigger is user-adjustable for pull weight, allowing the shooter to dial in a clean, predictable break, and the bolt handle has been updated from earlier Axis designs for positive manipulation.

The synthetic stock wears the Forest SP Camo pattern - a textured coating added to this configuration for added grip and concealment in wooded environments.
