The Savage Axis 2 Pro Compact in 350 Legend delivers the proven Axis 2 Pro platform in a scaled-down package sized for shorter-stature hunters and tight-cover carry. It is dressed in a custom Forest SP Camo synthetic stock paired with a corrosion-resistant Cerakote metal finish in Gun Metal Bronze, while the carbon-steel barreled action runs a smooth bolt action topped by a one-piece optics rail with no iron sights installed.

Up front sits the configuration's signature feature - an 18" spiral-fluted and threaded barrel with 5/8x24 threading for muzzle accessories and Savage's thread-in headspacing for shot-to-shot consistency. Spiral fluting is exclusive to the Forest SP Camo models and accelerates barrel cooling between shots on long walks and stationary sits alike. The barrel carries a 1:10" twist stabilized for the straight-walled 350 Legend hunting cartridge.

Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger comes standard, letting the shooter dial in their preferred release weight without a trip to the gunsmith. The rifle ships with one 4-round detachable box magazine for a 4+1 capacity, and the control layout keeps manual operation intuitive for a right-hand shooter. The fixed stock wears a palm-filling pistol grip and a 12.75" length of pull, while the Compact configuration measures 37.5" overall and tips the scales at 6.7 lbs. Sights are not included - the one-piece rail is ready for the optic of your choice.
