Savage Axis 2 Pro 400 Legend 20" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Left Hand - Forest SP Camo

The Savage Axis 2 Pro is a left-hand, bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the straight-walled 400 Legend cartridge and built around Savage's redesigned Axis 2 Pro platform. Featuring an ergonomic synthetic stock finished in Forest SP Camo and a Cerakoted carbon steel barrel and receiver, this rifle gives deer hunters a lightweight, fast-handling package ready for the field.

The 20" barrel is spiral fluted to reduce weight and aid heat dissipation, and is threaded at the muzzle for the addition of a suppressor or muzzle device. It is finished in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote over a carbon steel substrate. Savage's signature user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets the shooter dial in a clean, crisp pull weight without a trip to the gunsmith, and the rifle ships with a detachable box magazine for a total capacity of 4+1 rounds. The action uses Savage's thread-in headspacing system for consistent, reliable lockup, and the action is topped with no factory iron sights, leaving the receiver clean and ready for the optic of your choice.

The redesigned Axis 2 Pro stock is configured for left-handed shooters. It is built with enhanced texturing along the grip panels and fore-end, an ergonomic pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells, and a fixed length of pull to suit most average-size shooters. The Forest SP Camo pattern breaks up the rifle's outline in wooded hunting environments, and the enhanced bolt handle improves cycling under field conditions.

At 40.50" overall length and weighing just 6.80 lbs, the Axis 2 Pro is a compact, easy-carrying rifle well suited to spot-and-stalk hunting, tree-stand work, and any state where straight-walled cartridges like the 400 Legend are required or preferred for deer hunting. Twist rate is 1:7.5".
