The Savage Arms Axis 2 is an affordable bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 7mm-08 Remington, built around a 22" Sporter-profile barrel with a 1:9.5 twist rate well suited to the broad range of bullet weights the 7mm-08 handles. The matte black barrel is paired with a matte black drilled and tapped steel receiver, giving shooters a ready platform to mount their preferred optic.

At the heart of the action is Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, which lets the shooter set a clean, crisp pull weight without removing the stock or visiting a gunsmith. The rifle offers a 4+1 capacity and is configured for right-hand shooters.

The fixed green synthetic stock shrugs off weather and rough use while keeping the rifle light in hand.
