The Savage Axis 2 is a redesigned bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 25-06 Remington, built for left-handed shooters who want out-of-the-box accuracy at an entry-level price point. This left-hand configuration pairs a 22-inch matte black carbon steel sporter barrel with a matte black drilled and tapped steel receiver and a fixed matte gray synthetic stock with improved ergonomics over the original Axis.

Built around Savage's time-tested bolt-action platform, the Axis 2 features a button-rifled sporter barrel with a 1:10" twist and thread-in barrel headspacing for consistent shot-to-shot accuracy. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped to accept scope mounts and ships from the factory without iron sights. The rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine with a 4+1 capacity, and Savage's AccuTrigger delivers a crisp, clean break.

The redesigned synthetic stock provides improved ergonomics and field-friendly handling, while the complete rifle measures 42.5" overall and weighs 6.60 lbs.
