The Savage Axis 2 is a modern, value-priced bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .22-250 Remington, a flat-shooting varmint and predator cartridge long prized for accuracy and minimal recoil. The redesigned Axis 2 platform delivers improved out-of-the-box performance at an accessible price point, making it a practical choice for hunters and precision shooters alike.

This model features a 22-inch matte black sporter barrel with a 1:12" twist, button-rifled for excellent accuracy. The matte black drilled and tapped steel receiver is ready to accept optics or scope mounts right out of the box. There are no iron sights installed, so a scope or other optic is required for use.

Savage's renowned AccuTrigger provides a crisp, user-adjustable trigger pull for improved accuracy. The rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine with a 4+1 capacity (four in the magazine plus one in the chamber). The fixed synthetic stock is durable, weather-resistant, and lightweight, finished in a distinctive OD green color.

Configured for right-handed shooters, the Axis 2 measures 42.5 inches overall and weighs approximately 6.60 lbs. It is an ideal choice for varmint hunting, predator control, and precision range shooting.
