The Savage 93R17 GVXP is a bolt-action 17 HMR rimfire rifle built for varmint hunting and precision target shooting. Chambered in the high-velocity 17 HMR cartridge, this full-size rifle pairs a 21" heavy varmint barrel with a 1:9" twist to stabilize projectiles and deliver the flat trajectories the 17 HMR is known for.

The action sits in a matte black drilled and tapped carbon steel receiver with a classic blued metal finish. Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets the shooter dial in a crisp, custom pull weight, and a two-position safety provides simple, positive control. The rifle feeds from a 5+1 detachable magazine.

A traditional fixed satin brown wood stock gives the 93R17 GVXP a timeless field-rifle look and feel. It is set up for right-hand shooters, measures 39.75" overall, and weighs 7 lbs.
