Savage 93R17 FVSS Full Size 17 HMR 5+1 21" Bolt Action Rifle

The Savage 93R17 FVSS is a full-size 17 HMR bolt-action rimfire rifle built around a heavy, button-rifled stainless steel barrel and a matching stainless steel receiver that's drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The 21" varmint-weight barrel hangs free-floated for accuracy and is capped with a target-friendly 1:9" twist.

At the heart of the action is Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, paired with a classic two-position safety. The bolt feeds from a detachable 5-round box magazine, so topping off is as simple as swapping mags rather than working singles through the action. Overall length runs to 39.50" with a carry weight of just 5.50 lbs.

The full-length matte black synthetic stock is fixed, with cut checkering for positive grip and integrated swivel studs for sling attachment, and the rifle is set up for a right-hand shooter. Iron sights are intentionally omitted - the drilled-and-tapped receiver and heavy stainless barrel are purpose-built to live behind a scope for varmint and target work, and the matte stainless finish shrugs off the weather of long days in the field.
