The Savage 64 FXP is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR that ships from the factory ready to shoot, with a mounted and boresighted 4x15mm scope included. Part of Savage Arms' long-running Model 64 line, the FXP package is aimed at plinkers, new shooters, and small-game hunters who want a reliable detachable-magazine rimfire in a traditional sporter configuration.

Built around a 21-inch sporter-profile barrel with a blued finish and a 1:16" twist, the action uses a proven straight-blowback semi-automatic operating system. The receiver is grooved carbon steel in a matte black finish and feeds from a smooth 10-round detachable box magazine, giving the 64 FXP a 10+1 capacity. Iron sights are not fitted; the included scope and rings occupy the grooved receiver so the rifle is ready to go out of the box.

The stock is a one-piece fixed matte black synthetic design configured for right-handed shooters, with a standard trigger and a thumb safety.
