The Savage 555 Sporting Compact is a 20 Gauge over-and-under shotgun in a compact frame, featuring 26" ported barrels with a black semi-gloss finish, a vent rib, and a refined silver engraved aluminum receiver. The break-action design pairs traditional O/U handling with modern sporting features, making it well-suited to clay courses and a range of shooting applications.

Chambered for 3" shells, the 555 Sporting Compact holds 2 rounds - one in each barrel - in a classic over/under configuration. Ported barrels help tame felt recoil and muzzle rise between shots, while the vent rib channels heat and provides a clear sight plane. A fiber optic front sight paired with a mid bead gives the shooter a fast, intuitive aiming reference.

The silver engraved aluminum receiver keeps weight down without sacrificing strength, balancing nicely against the oiled Turkish walnut stock. An adjustable cheekrest lets shooters dial in their preferred comb height for a consistent sight picture, and the ambidextrous stock configuration welcomes right- and left-handed users alike. A familiar top tang safety rounds out the controls for glove-friendly operation.
