Savage 25 Walking Varminter 223 Rem 22" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand

The Savage 25 Walking Varminter is a purpose-built bolt-action varmint rifle chambered in 223 Rem. Part of Savage's Model 25 line, the Walking Varminter is engineered to be carried across open ground while still delivering the accuracy expected of a dedicated varmint platform.

At its core, the Walking Varminter features a 22" heavy barrel machined from carbon steel with a matte black finish and a 1:9" twist suited to stabilizing a wide range of 223 bullet weights. The heavy contour adds rigidity at the muzzle, supporting repeatable accuracy shot after shot. The barreled action is mated to a matte black carbon steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, and the rifle ships with no iron sights installed. The action carries Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger and a positive thumb safety for glove-friendly control in the field.

The rifle wears a fixed varmint-style synthetic stock in matte black, shaped for stability from prone and bench positions while keeping overall weight reasonable for a walk-and-hunt platform. Overall length is 41.75" with an unloaded weight of 6.90 lbs. The stock is set up for right-hand shooters.

Feeding from an included 4-round detachable box magazine, the Walking Varminter holds 4+1 rounds, making it a compact, fast-handling tool for coyote, prairie dog, and other varmint work where quick follow-up shots and a light carry matter as much as precision.
