Savage 1911 Government 9mm Luger 5" 10+1 Semi-Auto Pistol

The Savage 1911 Government is a 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol built on a forged stainless steel frame with a matching serrated stainless steel slide. Part of Savage's Government line, this full-size 10+1 pistol pairs traditional 1911 ergonomics with modern Savage engineering, including a machined sear and disconnector and a beavertail grip extension on the frame.

The 5" stainless steel barrel is machined from billet and crowned with an 11° target crown for accuracy. A dual recoil spring system with a GI-style guide rod keeps the slide cycling smoothly and extends service life. Controls include an ambidextrous grip and thumb safety, and the slide carries serrations for easy manipulation. Brown VZ grip panels fill out the package and deliver a confident, classic 1911 hold.

Savage ships the pistol with two 10-round magazines.
