Savage 1911 Government 45 ACP 5" 8+1 Semi-Auto Pistol - Two-Tone

The Savage 1911 Government Two-Tone is a .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built on the classic Government-size 1911 platform. A 5" stainless steel barrel with an 11-degree target crown feeds a single-action trigger and the standard 1911 control layout.

This two-tone configuration pairs a matte stainless steel frame with a black Melonite (nitride) finished slide for a contrast look and added surface hardness. The slide is cut with traditional front and rear serrations for press checks and chambering, and a nitride-coated titanium firing pin adds corrosion resistance to the internal package.

Inside, Savage uses a dual recoil spring assembly, a fully machined sear and disconnector, and a stainless steel hammer. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb and grip safety for right- or left-handed operation. The pistol measures 10.5" overall with a 1:16 rate-of-twist rifling for proven .45 ACP performance.

Sighting is handled by Novak Lo-Mount tritium night sights set into the dovetailed slide, and the grip frame is dressed with Black and Dark Gray VZ G10 grip panels for a textured, positive hold in any condition.
