The S.O.G SOG-TAC XR is a hard-use folding tactical knife purpose-built for uniformed professionals and demanding everyday carry. Its 3.39" clip point blade is precision-ground from cryogenically heat-treated D2 tool steel, then coated in a non-reflective black TiNi (titanium nitride) finish for added corrosion resistance and reduced friction during cutting.

The handle scales are machined from textured OD green G10, a high-pressure fiberglass laminate prized for grip security in wet, cold, or gloved hands. Ambidextrous thumb studs provide smooth one-handed opening, and the blade is held securely by SOG's signature XR lock crossbar mechanism, which delivers confident lockup and easy release.

Closed length measures 4.65" with an overall open length of 8". A pocket clip is factory installed for convenient everyday carry.
