The S.O.G SOG-TAC XR is a purpose-built tactical folder aimed at uniformed professionals and EDC users who need a tough, fast-deploying cutting tool. It carries a 3.39" clip point blade ground from Cryo D2 tool steel and finished with a low-glare, corrosion-resistant Black TiNi (Titanium Nitride) coating.

The blade deploys quickly via thumb studs and locks up solidly with SOG's signature XR lock mechanism for hard use. A partially serrated edge pairs a plain section for clean slicing with a serrated portion for cord, webbing, and other fibrous materials, giving the knife genuine all-purpose capability in the field.
