The Russian Izhmash AKM Parts Kit is a premium military-surplus kit that allows collectors and builders to own a piece of classic Soviet history. Chambered in 7.62x39mm, these parts kits were produced by Izhmash from original rifles cut for U.S. import. This highly desirable variation features Assembly Matching Serial Numbers, guaranteeing matching serials on five essential components: the front trunnion, safety selector, bolt, bolt carrier, and dust cover. The front trunnion is marked with the iconic Izhevsk triangle containing an arrow.
These kits are from demilled rifles and include the original populated barrel, which features a shiny bore and good rifling. It retains its original laminated wood furniture (buttstock and handguards) and classic Bakelite pistol grip. Built to standard AKM specifications, the receiver sections are saw-cut to meet compliance standards. Please note that cosmetic conditions of the wood parts will vary, showing signs of military service and storage wear. Rear sling swivels may have been relocated during service, and the original cleaning rod is not guaranteed. This is a parts kit, not a complete firearm, and requires a receiver, rivets, and compliant assembly components to build.

- Rear saw-cut receiver section with rear trunnion and laminated wood buttstock
- Original laminated wood handguards and Bakelite grip (with grip screw and nut)
- Guaranteed matching serial numbers on: Front Trunnion, Safety Selector, Bolt, Bolt Carrier, and Dust Cover
- Trigger guard with magazine release installed
- Complete fire control parts: trigger, hammer, hammer spring, safety selector, disconnector, axis pins, safety stop, and sear spring
- Recoil spring assembly and dust cover
