The Rugged Suppressor MD001 is a precision-machined M249 muzzle device finished in matte Black and threaded 9/16x24 LH to match the M249 SAW barrel. Built as a heavy-duty mounting point, it provides the secure interface needed to attach select Rugged Suppressor cans while also serving as an effective flash hider on its own.

At the heart of the MD001 is Rugged's Dual Taper Locking System, a friction-lock mount that combines thread engagement with a tapered shoulder to lock the suppressor concentric to the bore.
