The Ruger SR1911 Target is a purpose-built 9mm Luger rendition of the classic 1911 platform, blending traditional Government-size ergonomics with Ruger's modern quality control. It carries a 5" black steel barrel mated to a low-glare stainless steel serrated slide for positive surface control during manipulation, while the matching low-glare stainless steel frame is fitted with an extended beavertail for a high, repeatable grip.

The Target configuration is dressed with deluxe checkered G10 grips for a secure, ergonomic hold, and features a single-action only trigger with an ambidextrous safety - preserving the original 1911 manual of arms while accommodating both right- and left-handed shooters. Adjustable target sights are fitted up top for precision work at the range.

At 41.9 oz unloaded and 8.67" overall, the SR1911 Target carries the substantial weight expected of a Government-size 1911 built around a stainless steel frame and slide.
