Ruger SR1911 Commander 45 ACP 4.25" 7+1 Semi-Auto Pistol

The Ruger SR1911 Commander-Style brings a classic American fighting pistol into a more compact, carry-friendly format. Model 6702 is chambered in .45 ACP with a 4.25" stainless steel match-grade barrel, trimming roughly three-quarters of an inch off the Government Model length for an easier-wearing 1911 that still feels like a full-size Commander.

Built around Ruger's classic original 1911 fire control, this is a single-action-only (SAO) semi-auto pistol with positive barrel lock-up for solid accuracy out of the box, a standard trigger, and an extended thumb safety. The serrated stainless steel slide rides on a stainless steel frame with an integrated beavertail. Overall length is 7.75", height is 5.45", and the pistol tips the scales at 36.4 oz.

Sighting is handled by Ruger's drift-adjustable 3-dot Novak sights, and the pistol wears smooth hardwood grip panels for a clean, traditional look. Capacity is 7+1 from a single 7-round magazine, and the SR1911 ships in a soft case, set up for personal protection duty, recreational range shooting, and sport use.
