The Ruger Redhawk is a heavy-duty double-action-only revolver purpose-built to tame powerful magnum loads. This configuration is chambered in 357 Mag / 38 Special and pairs a compact 2.75" barrel with a full 8-round cylinder that supports moon clips for fast reloads, giving shooters a versatile platform that still handles full-power 357 Magnum ammunition.

The Redhawk's rugged, no-side-plate stainless steel frame, barrel, and cylinder are finished in satin stainless for all-weather durability. Its triple-locking cylinder locks at the front, rear, and bottom of the forcing cone to deliver the strength and alignment demanded by magnum pressures, and the traditional ramp front and adjustable rear sights provide a clean sight picture.

Classic hardwood grips complete the package, offering a traditional feel and solid hand purchase. At 8.25" overall and 44 oz, the Redhawk balances well despite its all-steel construction, and the exposed hammer rounds out the classic double-action revolver profile.
