Each clip is machined from 0.032-inch stainless steel with a corrosion-resistant stainless finish, sized to hold 6 rounds of 10mm Auto in the Super Redhawk's cylinder. The full-moon design wraps each casehead completely, allowing the rimless cartridges to be headspaced by the cylinder and ejected cleanly together when the cylinder is swung out.
