The Ruger Mark IV Standard is a straight-blowback, single-action semi-automatic .22 LR pistol with a 6" tapered barrel and a 10+1 capacity. Made in Prescott, Arizona, the Standard model carries a simple one-button takedown, a contoured ejection port and external ejection for reliable rimfire feeding.

Ruger built the Mark IV around a push-button takedown that lets the user separate the upper assembly from the grip frame without tools, making routine chamber-to-muzzle cleaning faster than on previous Mark-series pistols. An internal cylindrical bolt rather than a conventional moving slide locks up against the barrel for permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and accuracy potential that exceeds typical blowback semi-autos.

Construction pairs a satin stainless tapered barrel with a blued steel slide assembly, mounted on a one-piece, precision CNC-machined aluminum grip frame. Fixed iron sights ride on top, checkered synthetic grips fill out the grip frame, and an ambidextrous manual safety makes the pistol equally friendly to right- and left-handed shooters.

Weighing 30.1 oz unloaded and intended for personal protection and sport shooting, the Mark IV Standard ships with a 10-round magazine and is ready to feed rimfire ammunition right out of the box.
