The Ruger LCRx (Lightweight Compact Revolver) is a small-frame double-action/single-action revolver chambered in 357 Magnum and purpose-built for concealed carry, personal protection, and sport shooting. This configuration pairs a 1.87" matte black alloy steel barrel with a black PVD cylinder, all seated in Ruger's signature monolithic matte black stainless steel frame. The cylinder holds 5 rounds and the revolver tips the scales at just 17.10 oz with an overall length of 6.50", making it easy to pack all day without weighing you down.

What sets the LCRx apart from the standard LCR is the exposed hammer, which gives the shooter a true DA/SA trigger. In double-action mode the trigger pull runs through the full stroke for fast, instinctive shots; thumb the hammer back and the LCRx transitions to a crisp single-action press for precise aimed fire. A transfer bar safety prevents the hammer from striking a chambered round unless the trigger is fully depressed, so the gun can be safely carried with all five chambers loaded.

The grip is Ruger's popular Hogue Tamer Monogrip, a one-piece rubber overmold designed to soften felt recoil. Sights are a snag-free pinned ramp front paired with a U-notch integral rear for fast sight acquisition right out of the box. The matte black finish across the barrel, cylinder, and frame keeps glare down and slides easily in and out of an inside-the-waistband holster.
