Ruger Hawkeye FTW Hunter 6.5 PRC 24" 4+1 Bolt-Action Rifle

The Ruger Hawkeye FTW Hunter is a premium bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC, purpose-built for long-range hunting and precision shooting across open terrain. Built on Ruger's time-tested Hawkeye action, this FTW Hunter variant features a non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor - the most positive case extraction system available - ensuring reliable feeding and ejection in any shooting position.

The 24-inch matte stainless steel threaded barrel is cut with a 1:8" RH twist optimized for the wide range of bullet weights popular in 6.5 PRC, and is threaded 5/8x24 for the included Ruger Muzzle Brake System, which tames felt recoil and muzzle rise for quicker follow-up shots. The stainless steel receiver is topped with an integrated 20 MOA Picatinny rail, giving long-range scope mounts the added elevation needed to reach out and engage distant steel or game.

Feeding from an internal box magazine with a hinged, solid-steel floorplate, the rifle holds 4+1 rounds of 6.5 PRC. The floorplate features the engraved FTW Hunter logo and Ruger's patented latch, allowing the magazine to be unloaded without having to chamber each cartridge. The crisp, clean LC6 trigger and a 3-position safety that allows the bolt to be cycled with the safety engaged round out the controls.

The HS Precision speckled tan and black synthetic stock provides a stable, ergonomic shooting platform with the all-weather durability hunters demand. Configured for right-hand shooters, the rifle measures 45.75" overall and weighs 8.10 lbs, striking a solid balance between packability and steady hold at the bench or in the prone position.
