The Ruger Hawkeye Alaskan is a no-nonsense, purpose-built bolt-action rifle chambered in 375 Ruger for the largest, most dangerous game North America has to offer. At its core is a 20-inch cold hammer-forged steel barrel finished in Hawkeye Matte stainless, threaded 5/8x18 and fitted with a removable radial-port muzzle brake that tames magnum recoil without permanently altering the barrel crown.

The stainless steel receiver is machined with integral scope mount bases, so optics go straight on with the included rings and no separate bases are required. A bead front sight paired with an adjustable rear sight gets the rifle on paper fast for close, dangerous-game work, while the crisp LC6 trigger and traditional three-position safety keep operation simple and reliable in cold, wet, gloved hands.

Up top the black Hogue OverMolded synthetic stock wraps a synthetic skeleton in soft, recoil-absorbing rubber that grips securely in any weather. The internal box magazine holds 3+1 rounds, twist is 1:12 right-hand, and the whole rifle checks in at 8.10 lbs with an overall length of 42 inches for a compact, packable package suited to horseback, bush plane, or backcountry spot-and-stalk hunting.
