The Rossi R95 Trapper in .444 Marlin is a compact, fast-handling lever-action rifle purpose-built for brush country, deep-woods hunting, and anyone who appreciates the handling of a short traditional carbine.

Built on a strong alloy steel receiver paired with a 16.5-inch barrel, the R95 blends modern manufacturing with classic Marlin-pattern lever-action design. Both the barrel and receiver carry a durable black oxide finish, while the stock is traditional hardwood finished in a deep black wood color. The action cycles via lever and feeds from a fixed internal tube magazine holding 5+1 rounds.

The .444 Marlin is a true brush gun cartridge, throwing heavy bullets with authority and easily capable of taking elk, black bear, and the largest of whitetails with proper loads at sensible ranges. Iron sights come in the form of a traditional buckhorn rear paired with a drift-adjustable front, and a crossbolt safety sits behind the lever for intuitive operation.
