The Retay USA RXP22 is a 22 LR rimfire training pistol designed to deliver the feel and handling of a centerfire defensive pistol in an affordable, low-recoil package. Purpose-built for high-round-count practice, the RXP22 lets shooters build muscle memory and refine fundamentals without the cost and noise of centerfire ammunition, making it a strong fit for new shooters, instructors, and anyone putting serious rounds downrange.

At the heart of the RXP22 is a 4-inch threaded barrel chambered in 22 LR with a 1/2x28 thread pitch for compensator or suppressor mounting. The barrel is constructed of chrome-finished, low-alloy AISI 4140 steel for durability and consistent accuracy. This DA/SA semi-auto pistol runs a 10-round magazine for a 10+1 capacity and includes a manual safety for added control during carry, training, and administrative handling.

The two-tone finish pairs a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote polymer frame with a Black Cerakote slide. The slide is optic-ready, drilled and tapped for the RMR and RMSc footprints, and ships with a universal mounting plate to accommodate red dots outside those patterns. Serrated rear slide serrations give a positive grip for press checks and manipulations, and the contoured polymer frame is finished with integrated grip texturing for a secure, comfortable hold.

Sighting is handled by Glock-compatible rear notch sights paired with a TruGlo front fiber optic for fast target acquisition in varied light. An integrated under-barrel accessory rail accepts lights, lasers, or other tactical accessories. Whether used as a dedicated trainer, a suppressor host, or a high-volume plinker, the RXP22 is a versatile rimfire pistol that bridges the gap between practice and carry.
