At the heart of the load is Remington's Copper-Lokt copper-plated lead shot with high antimony content, billed by Remington as the hardest lead made for hunting. The copper plating helps each pellet hold its shape through the bore and downrange for tighter, more uniform patterns, while the harder alloy maintains energy and penetration on game birds at typical upland distances.
