The Remington HyperSonic Steel 20 Gauge shotshell is purpose-built for high-performance waterfowl hunting, driving 7/8 oz (roughly 135 pellets) of zinc-plated steel #4 shot at a scorching 1600 fps muzzle velocity out of a 3" magnum hull.

Remington's HyperSonic Steel load uses a hotter primer and a specialized propellant charge to flatten trajectories and shorten required lead by up to 11% versus standard steel waterfowl loads, putting more steel shot in the head and neck of incoming ducks and geese for quicker kills and fewer misses. Each steel pellet is zinc-plated.
