Real Avid Smart Bench Block Red/Silver Polymer Handgun 1911

The Real Avid Smart Bench Block is a universal non-slip, non-marring gunsmith block purpose-built to make handgun disassembly faster, safer, and easier on your firearms. Molded from tough engineering-grade resin in a high-visibility red and silver two-tone finish, the block features an outer rubber liner that grips your workbench and protects both the block and your gun's finish from scratches and scuffs during pin punches and bushing work.

An embedded magnet inside the block captures and holds small parts, pins, and springs the moment they exit the frame, so nothing flies across the bench or disappears into the carpet. The top of the block is laid out with a full set of universal hole sizes sized to accept standard pin punches for slide pins, trigger pins, and frame pins on a wide range of popular handguns, including the Glock 17, 19X, and 26, as well as the 1911. A central barrel groove cradles pistol barrels so you can drive out bushings and work on slides without marring the bore or crown.

Built into the block is a dedicated 1911 Government model bushing wrench, giving you the right tool to remove and reinstall the tight-fitting barrel bushing on your 1911 without reaching for a separate tool. At a compact 1.40" x 5.80" x 9.35", the Smart Bench Block stows easily in a range bag or drawer and is light enough to live on the bench full-time.
