The Real Avid Gun-Max Grease (model AVGMG) is a purpose-built firearm grease engineered for the punishing heat, pressure, and friction of modern semi-automatic cycling. Packaged in a compact 0.04 oz tube, this stay-put formula is formulated specifically for high-load contact points that see repeated firing cycles and heavy wear.

Real Avid designed Gun-Max Grease to handle the extreme contact surfaces found on slides, bolt carriers, rails, locking lugs, and other high-wear firearm interfaces. The thick, tacky formula resists thinning under heat, stays in place during use, and continues to lubricate metal-to-metal contact points when temperatures and pressures spike during extended strings of fire. It reduces friction and wear, withstands extreme pressure, and adds a layer of corrosion protection between cleanings.
