RCBS 9812 Expander Decapping Unit 7.62mm/.30 Cal

The RCBS 9812 Expander Decapping Unit is a case-prep replacement assembly sized for .30 caliber / 7.62mm bottleneck rifle cases. Drop it into your RCBS sizer die to simultaneously de-prime spent primers from fired cases and expand the case neck to restore proper bullet grip after sizing - the two operations bottleneck-case reloaders hit on every cycle.

This replacement unit combines an expander rod and ball with a decapping pin, built to swap into an RCBS sizing die in place of a bent, worn, broken, or lost original. An ultra-hard carbide expander button smooths the case mouth back to round, and the adjustable positioning sleeve lets you dial in correct neck tension for the specific case in your batch.

The 9812 fits popular .30-caliber bottleneck rifle cases including the .30-30 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, .300 Win Mag, .300 WSM, and .300 Remington families, along with similar 7.62mm bottlenecked rifle brass. It's the right spare to keep on the bench so a single damaged pin doesn't shut down your reloading run - no need to replace a complete die set.
