RCBS 9474 Primer Pocket Swager Bench Tool - .22 Cal and Up

The RCBS 9474 Primer Pocket Swager is a dedicated bench-mounted reloading tool designed to remove the primer pocket crimp commonly found on military and military-style brass. Instead of cutting or shaving the crimp away, the swager reforms the brass from the inside, pushing the crimp material back into a uniform pocket that accepts a new primer cleanly. It is an essential piece of case-prep equipment for any reloader working with once-fired military cases.

Built around a rugged die-cast aluminum base, the swager uses a hardened steel cam and an internal hardened steel support rod that braces the case from the inside during swaging, keeping the pocket perfectly aligned so the crimp is pushed back evenly every time. The foam-padded grip handle and the mechanical advantage of the cam design require roughly 35% less hand force than competing swage-style tools to complete the job.

The 9474 is configured to work with case sizes .22 caliber and up, covering the full range of common handgun and rifle cartridges a reloader encounters. It is intended to be bench-mounted for stable, repeatable use during case preparation.

Finished in green and black with steel working components on an aluminum body, the RCBS 9474 ships in new condition as a current production reloading tool.
