RCBS 87501 Die Lock Ring Assembly 7/8-14 Large

The RCBS 87501 Die Lock Ring Assembly is a steel locking ring purpose-built for any standard 7/8"-14 threaded reloading die. The large hex-style lock ring uses a hex head set screw to clamp the die firmly in place on the press, allowing the reloader to remove and reinstall the die later without losing depth setting or having to recalibrate.

Once your dies are properly adjusted, a Die Lock Ring freezes that setting in. Instead of fighting with an over-tight conventional lock ring or risking die drift between reloading sessions, you simply back off the set screw, drop the die out for cleaning, storage, or swapping to another press, and reinstall it right back where it was. That makes caliber change-overs and multi-press setups fast and repeatable, no matter what multi-caliber bottleneck or full-length die you are locking down.

Constructed from steel with a durable black oxide finish, this RCBS lock ring matches the industry-standard 7/8"-14 die thread used by the vast majority of reloading dies. Sold as a single ring.
