The RCBS 49628 Decapping Pin is a factory small-size replacement decapping pin for RCBS reloading dies, fitting calibers from .22 to .45. The decapping pin is the small working component inside a sizing/decap die that punches spent primers out of fired cases during the resizing step. Because it sees direct contact with every case, it is a normal wear item, and having spares on the bench keeps a reloading session from being interrupted by a worn or broken pin.
