RCBS 12201 Full-Length 2-Die Set Group A .250 Savage

The RCBS 12201 Full-Length 2-Die Set is a Group A reloading die set built specifically for the .250 Savage bottleneck rifle cartridge. RCBS designed this two-die combination to cover the full reloading cycle for the .250 Savage, giving reloaders a simple, reliable way to bring fired brass back to spec and load fresh, accurate ammunition at home.

The first die in the set is a Full-Length Sizer Die fitted with an integrated Expander-Decapping Unit. The sizer die resizes the fired bottleneck case back to factory dimensions along its full length and simultaneously pushes out the spent primer, while the expander ball opens the case mouth just enough to accept a new bullet smoothly. Because the .250 Savage is a bottleneck case, full-length sizing is the right choice for reloaders who want brass fully returned to spec for reliable chambering across multiple firearms.

The second die is a Seater Die equipped with the matching Bullet Seater Plug, which seats the bullet squarely on the case mouth at the correct overall length for reliable feeding and ignition. The seater plug is sized specifically for .250 Savage projectiles, so bullets are aligned consistently and held at the proper depth every round.
