Radian Weapons Raptor AR-15 5.56 NATO Charging Handle & Talon Safety - Black

The Radian Weapons R0275 Raptor and Talon Kit combines an ambidextrous charging handle with a configurable ambidextrous safety selector for standard mil-spec AR-15/M16-pattern receivers. The Raptor charging handle is designed for the 5.56 NATO platform, and both controls support left- or right-side operation.

The Raptor charging handle is machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum and finished in black mil-spec anodizing. Its ambidextrous layout permits operation from either the strong side or support side, using a palm or a finger-and-thumb technique.

The Talon safety selector can be configured for a conventional 90-degree throw or a 45-degree short throw by rotating the selector shaft 180 degrees during installation. Its short and long levers are machined from billet aircraft-grade aluminum with a mil-spec Type III hard-coat anodized finish, while the hardened-steel center shaft has a black-nitride finish. A precision-machined dovetail interface and spring-loaded retention studs secure the levers without lever-retaining screws. The Talon design is covered by U.S. Patent US9557128.

The kit includes one Raptor charging handle and one Talon 45/90 safety selector with one short lever and one long lever. The Talon selector is also compatible with most semi-automatic AR-10, SR-25, MCX, and MPX platforms, while the included Raptor charging handle is specifically an AR-15/M16 component.
