The Q LLC Balanced Bolt Catch is an oversized bolt catch engineered to improve the function and durability of your AR-15 platform rifle. Designed by Q's engineering team, the Balanced Bolt Catch (BBC) is precision-machined from solid 17-4 stainless steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant QPQ Nitride coating in black.

Unlike a standard mil-spec bolt catch, the Q BBC features wide paddles on both the top and bottom, dramatically increasing the surface area available to engage the bolt. This oversized geometry makes releasing the bolt faster and more positive, whether you're running the rifle hard at the range, clearing malfunctions under stress, or simply making manipulations easier with gloves on. The Balanced Bolt Catch drops into any standard AR-15 lower receiver and is also compatible with Q's Honeybadger platform.
