The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 is a high-performance digital thermal riflescope built around Pulsar's first HD 1024x768 thermal sensor, packaged in a traditional riflescope form factor. The XL50 pairs Pulsar's flagship thermal engine with a built-in laser rangefinder and on-board ballistic calculator so distance and hold are solved without ever leaving the eyepiece.

At the optical heart of the scope sits a 50mm objective paired with variable 1.75-14x magnification, with Pulsar's stepped digital zoom applying 2x, 4x, or 8x on top of the optical power for fine target identification at distance. The HD sensor produces a wide 14 x 10.05 degree field of view and supports multi-reticle selection with multiple color palettes for matching conditions or shooter preference.

The integrated laser rangefinder talks directly to the ballistic calculator, feeding real-time distance into the holdover reticle so the shooter can range, read hold, and break the shot in a single glance. Detection range stretches out to 2,515 yards.

Power is handled by a combined internal and external Li-Ion system: a 4.9 Ah internal battery plus a swappable 2 Ah external pack, rated for up to six hours or roughly 2,000 shots per charge. The housing carries Pulsar's standard shock and water-resistant ratings and is built to handle the recoil of big-bore hunting cartridges including 9.3x64, .30-06, .300, and .375 H&H. Overall length is 16.70 inches and total weight is 36.30 oz in the Black finish.
