The Pulsar Proton FXQ30 is a compact thermal imaging front attachment that snaps onto a daytime riflescope, spotting scope, or binocular and turns it into a capable thermal optic in seconds. Built around a sensitive 17 micrometer thermal sensor with 384x288 pixel resolution running at a smooth 50Hz refresh rate, the FXQ30 is aimed at hunters, foresters, and pest controllers who want thermal performance without re-zeroing their existing optic.

A 1-5x magnification range is delivered through a 30mm objective with a wide 12.4 degree field of view. The clip-on unit is also compatible with the Pulsar 5x30B monocular for handheld use, and a quick-release mount makes swapping between platforms fast and repeatable. On the back end, an HD AMOLED display shows the thermal image in your choice of eight color palettes for adapting to varied terrain, weather, and target contrast.

The rugged, waterproof black housing is built for field abuse, and an integrated video recorder with 16GB of internal memory captures hunts and observations on the fly. Power comes from a rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack rated for up to 6 hours of continuous run time.
