The Proof Research PR15 is an AR-15 barrel chambered in 223 Wylde and finished in Proof Research's PXT coating. Measuring 14.5" in length with a 1:7 rifling twist, the PR15 is designed as a barrel component for AR-15 carbine and short-barrel rifle builds.

The barrel features Proof Research's carbon fiber wrapped construction with metal end fittings at both ends. It is configured for a mid-length gas system with a .750" gas journal and a .082" gas port, and is threaded 5/8x24 at the muzzle for mounting standard muzzle devices and suppressors.
