The Proof Research PR15 is a premium .223 Wylde replacement barrel engineered for the AR-15 platform. Built around a stainless steel core and wrapped in Proof's signature carbon fiber jacket, this 18" barrel delivers the accuracy of a match-grade steel profile with significantly reduced weight and improved thermal performance over a traditional all-steel contour.

The .223 Wylde chamber is designed to safely fire both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition, making it a versatile choice for competition, duty, and recreational use. A 1:8 twist rate provides consistent bullet stabilization across a broad range of common .223/5.56 projectile weights.
