The Proof Research Elevation MTR 2.0 is a premium bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 7mm Rem Mag, built around a match-grade 22" carbon fiber wrapped barrel with a 1:8.4" twist and 5/8x24 threads protected by an included thread protector. The MTR 2.0 (Mountain Tactical Rifle) configuration pairs Proof's signature lightweight carbon fiber barrel technology with a crisp TriggerTech trigger and a steel receiver for a complete, lightweight, backcountry-ready hunting platform.

The carbon fiber barrel significantly reduces overall weight while maintaining match-grade accuracy and superior heat dissipation compared to traditional steel barrels, making the Elevation MTR 2.0 ideal for long-range hunting applications with the flat-shooting 7mm Rem Mag cartridge.
