The Pro-Shot Products Chamber Lug & Recess Kit gives AR-15 shooters a purpose-built set of tools for cleaning the chamber and locking lug recesses of their .223 Rem / 5.56 NATO rifles. Caliber- and platform-specific, this kit from Pro-Shot's American-made cleaning line reaches the fouling-prone areas a standard bore brush cannot properly address.

The kit centers on a 10" chamber rod with handle, long enough to reach into the upper receiver and work directly on the lug-race surfaces. The rod uses the standard 8-32 American thread, keeping it compatible with standard 8-32 threaded chamber cleaning accessories.

Everything needed for the job is included: a chamber brush with bronze bristles and a brass core to scrub fouling from the chamber walls and lug recesses, a chamber mop for applying solvent and wiping down cleaned surfaces, and a supply of cotton rolls for final polishing. The stainless steel rod and handle are micro-polished to avoid marring chamber finishes.
