The Pro-Shot CR36270 is a 36" one-piece coated rifle cleaning rod built for .270 caliber and up centerfire rifles. Pro-Shot wraps a rigid steel core in its proprietary pro-Tuff Coating (PTC), a slick protective coating that helps the rod slide through the bore without picking up fouling or scratching lands and grooves.

A precision swivel handle lets the rod spin independently of the shaft, so patches and brushes track the rifling smoothly instead of torquing with each stroke. The CR36270 uses American standard #8-32 thread, so it accepts the full range of Pro-Shot .270 caliber jags, slotted patch holders, and bore brushes, plus most other brands built to that same spec.

At 36" working length, the rod clears the bore of any centerfire rifle chambered in .270 and up with handle clearance to spare. The CR36270 ships with a reusable storage tube and a patch holder to keep the coated shaft straight, clean, and ready between cleaning sessions.
