The Pro-Shot 17NR is a precision .17 caliber rifle bore brush purpose-built for thorough, scratch-free cleaning of the narrow bores found in .17 caliber rifles and .177 caliber airguns. This brush uses a sturdy brass core wrapped in durable nylon bristles, giving it the strength to break up powder fouling and lead deposits while remaining gentle on the bore. Nylon is the preferred bristle material for .17 caliber barrels where the shallow, fine-cut rifling can easily be scored by stiffer bronze or steel brushes. The bristle section measures 2" in length, allowing the brush to work fouling along the full length of a standard cleaning pass, and the brass core holds its shape through repeated use.
