The Primos The Deborah is a diaphragm mouth call from Primos' Hen House Series, built to mimic the wide range of vocal personalities found in a flock of wild turkey hens. Housed in a green plastic frame and fitted with three latex reeds cut in Primos' Barracuda cut, The Deborah is voiced for mid-range volume with raspy cuts that can fire up a hung-up tom or pull a wary longbeard into range.
The Hen House Series was developed to give turkey hunters a full toolbox of hen talk, and The Deborah fills the middle of that lineup as the raspy, expressive workhorse. The triple-reed design covers a broad sound range, from soft, sweet yelps and purrs when a gobbler is closing in to loud, rowdy kee kees and cutting sounds when you need to push one from a distance. Worn in the roof of the mouth like any diaphragm call, it stays out of your hands so you can keep your gun up and ready.
Whether you are coaxing a longbeard into shotgun range on a calm spring morning or cutting at a stubborn tom late in the season, The Deborah gives you the natural hen vocabulary to make it happen.
